Our Story

Bartley Skills Development Program was founded by Chadwin and Camille Bartley. The program stems from the couple noticing the struggles in the community they grew up in and having an understanding of what it takes to overcome those challenges. In the past 10 years of business they have collectively registered and trained 56 apprentices and introduced countless others to the industry.

While overcoming homelessness, single parent home and many other hurdles in education, the couple has learned lessons that cannot only help participants avoid pitfalls, but also propel them forward on a sustainable career path.

Chadwin and Camille were fortunate enough to have found great mentors that have helped to guide them on a successful path. They are now looking to pay it forward as full time mentors to marginalized youth seeking hope and a way out of their difficulties.

They have become advocates for the skill trades & entrepreneurship program, which they credit for sustaining their lives and growing their family. “Skill trades have not always been glamorized like other professions but we intend on beautifying the trades”. -Chadwin Bartley
